Frequently Asked Questions

Which method do you use to clean the windows?
We use the reach-and-wash system with purified water for outside windows, and the traditional squeegee method for inside windows.

Can you clean windows in the rain?
Yes, it works in the rain. Most of the time, UK rain is relatively clean and won’t affect your windows.

…What do you mean ‘most’ of the time?
Sometimes rain carries dust, pollen, or pollution, which can leave light spots on windows and cars. After heavy rain, the air usually clears, and the rain becomes cleaner again.

Does it leave streaks?
No. Our purified water dries completely clear and spot-free. On the rare occasion you notice spots, it’s usually from old rubber seals or a drip from an overhead vent. If that happens, our 100% satisfaction guarantee means we’ll return and fix it free of charge.

How often do you come?
Usually every 8 weeks. You can also choose every 16 weeks, but less frequent cleans take more time and effort, so a small additional fee applies.

Do I need to be home?
No. Just leave the side gate accessible - we can reach over, use our gate ladder, or unlock it if it’s not padlocked.

How much do you charge?
A typical clean is £20 for the first 8 windows/doors, then £1.50 per additional window (one window = 2 panes plus frames). Prices can vary depending on window type and access.

Can I book a one-off clean?
Yes. First-time or one-off cleans take roughly 2–3 times longer than a regular clean, so they are priced accordingly.

Do you send reminders before the clean?
Yes - you’ll get a text the day or evening before, so you know we’re on our way.

How can I pay?
We accept cash, bank transfer, or cheque - whichever suits you best. After each clean, we post a card with the bank details for convenience.
